First and Second grade is the first levels of elementary school where children from ages 6-8 develop educational skills such as reading and reading comprehension with a wide variety of other organizational skills.  

Mr. Scott Rogers teaches first grade. He graduated with a theology degree and a minor in child development from Southern Adventist University. After losing his best friend from bullying at a young age, Mr. Rogers decided to teach kids to be kind and loving to one another. 

Mr. Joseph Waters teaches second grade. He graduated from Union College with a bachelor's of science in physical education. He also teaches some of our physical education classes as well as history.
